Dark Matter eLiquid

Enjoy the wonderful flavor of our latest VapeSafe eLiquid - Dark Matter.

Dark Matter tastes like German chocolate cake. For those of you who have not had the fortunate to try a piece German chocolate cake recently, this is a great way to experience the flavor without getting any of the calories. German chocolate cake is a layered cake filled and topped with a coconut-pecan frosting. Traditionally sweet baking chocolate is used for the chocolate flavor in the actual cake. The robust filling and topping is a caramel made with egg yolks and evaporated milk. Once the caramel is cooked, coconut and pecans are stirred into the mixture. Finally, rich chocolate frosting is spread around the sides of the cake to hold in the filling.

Dark Matter eLiquid by VapeSafe captures the essence of German chocolate cake. Dark Matter eLiquid delivers plumes of vapor and rich chocolatey flavor that you'll want to enjoy again and again. Try Dark Matter today!

Description

Since the advent of file-sharing technology in the late 1990s, the music industry has been challenged to reinvent itself. What has it done? How have the record labels repositioned themselves to cope with these massive changes? How does all this affect creative artists?

No one understands the music industry -- from the technology, to the legalities, to the new industry practices -- better than veteran music lawyer Donald Passman. In this completely revised and updated seventh edition of All You Need to Know About the Music Business, which the Los Angeles Times called "the industry bible" and which has sold hundreds of thousands of copies over the last eighteen years, Passman offers executives and artists, experts and novices alike the essential information they need not only to survive in these volatile and exciting times, but also to thrive.

Drawing on his unique, up-to-the-minute experience as one of the most trusted advisors in the industry, Passman offers new information on:

- The new 360 model of record deals, wherein record companies share in nonrecord revenue

- The Copyright Royalty Board's latest decisions regarding online transmissions

- The developing customs on new technologies such as streaming on demand, ringtones, and digital downloads

- Updates on recording and publishing deals, as well as film music

He also gives guidance on fundamental issues, such as how to:

- Select and hire a winning team of advisors -- personal and business managers, agents, and attorneys -- and structure their commissions, percentages, and fees in a way that will protect you and maximize these relationships

- Master the big picture and the finer points of record deals

- Navigate the ins and outs of songwriting, music publishing, and copyrights

- Maximize concert, touring, and merchandising deals

Everyone in the business -- musicians, songwriters, entertainment lawyers, agents, promoters, publishers, managers, record company executives -- is scrambling to figure out what's going to happen in the future, and Passman is in the thick of these changes. Anyone interested in a music career will need this comprehensive and crucial guide to making it in one of the world's most dynamic industries.

Summary: "Very good Begining Book for Music Industry"

It is a very good book as a begining to find out about the music industry. I like the view point and the approach.

Summary: "EXTREMELY INFORMATIVE"

The title says it all in this book, because it honestly covers everything you need to know about the industry. I know he tries to write in a way that everyone can understand what he's talking about, but sometimes it's hard to really process everything he's trying to tell you. As he says it the book, this is not necessarily a book you're going to sit down and read, absorb the information, and regurgitate the info when the situation comes up. This is a book that you highlight, dog-ear, and sticky-note, as a reference to what you are (hopefully) going to encounter as you enter the music business. It can get hard to read because he throws out a lot of numbers, and it can take a second to really figure out what he's saying and how it will relate to you. I highly recommend the book, however, because you will probably help you get a fair deal when attempting to advance your music career.

Summary: "Executive Producer reads this book"

As owner of my own management / consulting business (KBH Entertainment) and Executive Producer and Co-founder of the Hollywood Music In Media Awards, I am a long time reader of Donald Passman's Music Business book series. Of course, the business changes and morphs almost daily, but many of the basic principals remain the same. I started reading Passman's book in 1994 and have kept up with the new editions. Over my 30 year span in the business working with the independent artist community, a good portion of my knowledge came from this book. I recommend anyone wanting to delve into this business...read this book!

Summary: "If you want to work in the biz- read this"

This book is required reading for anyone who wants to work in the music industry. It's not quite as current as one would like, but that's a hopeless battle since everything is changing so quickly. Passman explains very complex contract language in simple to understand and easy to read format. Do yourself a favor, especially if you want to work as a musician, read this book.
